Obituary for Laura Smith Selz
Laura Lynn Smith Selz, 60, of Midland, Texas passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 in Midland. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Friday June 12, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport, Texas. Burial will be in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Bevins Welder and Dennis Davis will officiate. Pallbearers are Landon Smith, Klent Selz, Benny Craft, David Bush, Ryan Bush, and Keith Riemer. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to mission funds in her honor at Temple Baptist Church, 4301 Thomason Drive, Midland, Texas 79703 or Bible Believers Baptist Church, 1701 Rand Morgan Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78410. Laura was born July 4, 1954 in Eastland, Texas to Wilma and E. L. Smith. She graduated high school in 1972 in Bridgeport. She married Milton Val Selz on June 2, 1973 in Bridgeport. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, needlepoint, sewing, hunting, and cowboy action shooting. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Midland. Laura is survived by her husband of forty-two years, Milton; son Edward L. Selz and wife Jennifer; parents Wilma and E. L. Smith of Allen, Texas; brothers Johnny Smith and wife Linda, Rick Smith and wife Joyce, and Sean Smith and wife Michelle; brothers-in-law Dan Selz and wife Debbie and Scott Selz and wife Debbie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Henry and Ashley
Is that a great looking couple or what!!
While I was in California, Henry and Ashley got to go to the Marine Ball, while I watched the kids.
But really it was just listen for the grand-kids while they slept! They were so good, and mommy worried for nothing!
